Gotta love that stiff as a board look and maintaining it as they drag him off!
-
if I remember reading some where correctly, that guy ended up in the ER and was unconscious for quite some time and the guy that hit him was pending charges of some sort until this video came out and proved that he hit the guy in self defense.
folks, don't get the wrong idea about Portland! that place is almost as bad with tree huggers, hippy's, LGBT (or whatever the fark it is today), etc, ect as San Francisco! that city is dirty, it smells like straight un washed ass/private parts...………...
-
You’re correct about him being released Nate. That was the second guy he’d knocked stiff as a board that day.
About 2:37 into this video is that he other one.

I’m not a fan of anyone covering their face in a protest. There is only one reason and that is to obscure their identity from authorities , as if they know they are going to break the law.

What I am yet to understand is why you would continue to swing a police night stick at a man A twice your size, B a guy not backing down as you continue to swing, C a guy who than takes a pretty good hit with the night stick, and not run? How dumb are some of these folks who pick a fight with people with combat training or cage fighters and so forth. Makes no sense

Inbreeding creates below average IQ’s.......
A retired police officer neighbor friend of mine came over last night to watch fireworks & sip on my bourbon stock. His comment was that my generation gen X for reference may have been the last gen to fist fight on occasion growing up. Since then things have changed dramatically, anti bullying campaigns and school shootings etc. generally speaking these generations since (millennial and now gen z) don’t face the same things we did growing up in those terms. I recall several times at the local public boat access after school to settle things if it lasted that long as many times we took care of things in passing periods at school & the cops didn’t work there and were never called either. My dad on the other hand got several calls. So what I’m getting at is these young ins may not have had the same well rounded education we were subject to.

Shawn I only wish it had been a bigger truck.
When I was growing up we fought after school. My dad always asked what the other guy looked like. If I lost it was worse.

I want to know why he was wearing my wife’s coat and gloves? He ran like his maxi-pad was chaffing.

Yeah, big red truck would have been better.....
Funny thing happened last week & well this comment about your Dad made me think about it. So I was back in Indiana a couple months back. My Dad had taken a turn for worse over last nine months, so I spent a couple days hiring caretakers & people to clean for him. Idea is to keep him in his place for awhile longer before going to assisted living. His wishes & I’m trying to oblige.
The neighbor lady is nosey and my dad is not the nicest guy when uninvited people get in his business. Well, she called cops on him for welfare check. They checked and the people I hired are doing their job. So old man confronts nosey neighbor, she lies and tells him that his son called the cops. His response, BS he wasn’t raised to ever call the cops & he sure as heck wouldn’t call them on me! When he told me this we both got a good laugh......

Was that you at 1:30AM behind our place. I was close to walking over and making you a deal " if you stopped now I wouldn't call the law." A few years ago I would have just tried to stop you myself but time has made me both smarter and less able.
-
So, Bob, you're just that old groucher neighbor? :)
-
Bob I not only follow the law I respect my neighbors. We are in the country and it’s entirely legal. And we were done by 10pm.
But just in case there were stray dogs or other nefarious creatures I was carrying my G23 and an extra mag.
Armed neighbors are polite neighbors.

Well, no not really, just thought it was time to come to an end. Not saying I am not grouchy, just really tired of the noise.

I don't even know what nefarious means but here those fireworks were not legal and it was well past midnight, and our little dog was not doing all that well, and I was still all done with them. I just might have been carrying also, not that it would have mattered. Polite neighbors would have been done before midnight.
-
Polite neighbors would obey the law and not lit fireworks where it’s not legal. That aggravates me to no end. Along with riding four wheelers on city streets. One more reason to go to the country. I guess if I’m not there it won’t aggravate me. How does one raise their kids to obey the law if they selectively decide which ones to obey? I guess it’s kind of like politicians.

Charles, the flip side of this coin & I'm not referring to fireworks laws either at the moment. Is that I raise my kids to logically look at all laws within a moral context. Basically, use your brain and think, question everything & make a sound descision. Just because it’s law doesn’t make it right.

Christ centered logic

Actually we are commanded to obey the law of man up to the point until it conflicts with God’s law. And then we are to disobey and deal with the consequences
Not sure The Lord wants us to light fireworks in disobedience to the law. :wink

That can be a deep rabbit hole Charles...... :beercheers:

Actually, we are raising adults. They just start life being small.

Yes, this^^^ always with the end game in sight.

Amen, Bob. Its why I've talked to my kids like they were adults since they were about 4-5 years old. I remember when my oldest brought home "celebrate China week" materials from school when she was about 6. I said, lets talk about china. Forced prison labor, communism, forced abortion, currency manipulation, human rights and environmental violations...
Wife about had a coronary over that discussion....
