Made my wife happy. She's been wanting her iPhone to play music in her SUV and I finally made it by the custom stereo place and they had the gizmo I couldn't seem to find on the web. 20 minutes in and out and she can control it all from the steering wheel controls.
And watched my oldest win student of the year in math at her school in 7th grade

X2. I would have thought the rear would be the place to start. What was the cost of the kit?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'll look into it Tex Only reason I stay away from messing with the rear is that 70%-80% of suspension articulation occurs in the rear. I need that with the nature of the off road I did yesterday and 2X times a week. But a smaller rear bar might not adversely affect that since this is mostly a on road truck and the country road driving it the predominate negative to the feel of the thing.
Who has one? Addco?

Not bad. I paid $84 for my black speedcross on Amazon. If you find discontinued models you can get them cheap.

and whats the verdict Charles?
About the salad? Very good. Gotta work on the dressing a bit. Less dill and more acid. Gonna try lemon juice as the acid with the oil And this weekend Went lighter on the rub and added apple cider vinegar to the apple juice for the spray. Also smoked with pecan this time. Good, but needed more rub and I like hickory better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like the salomons so much I keep two pair. One to wear with casual clothes and the other to work out and just work in. When the latter gets worn out is about the time I've soiled the newer pair and I just rotate down and buy a new pair.

Did get a new pair of salomon speedcross in the mail from Amazon today so it wasn't a total waste

Good looking boat Tate. Those 4.3 mercruisers are pretty solid. Had one in a 20 ft that would do 57 flat out on a perfect surface. Buying used makes all the difference. I had mine for 3 years and only lost $2000. Sold it back to the place I bought it from. Highly recommend what is called a "topsider". http://m.northerntool.com/products/shop~tools~product_390306_390306?hotline=falseWorks wonders on oil changes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

05:00, coffee. Watched trump not bow to the Saudi king. Got to the shop and replaced a controller and temp probe on a smoker I'm refurbishing for my dad. Bad igniter. Amazon order. Poured rain for an hour. Did inside chores with the youngest. Cleaned both bathrooms, washed dishes, did a load of clothes, swept the floors. Went into town for chicken wings and to return some stuff to lowes and HD. Went to tractor supply and picked up a 25ton log splitter. Got home, fed the fish, split some wood. Took a shower and had leftovers for dinner. Whooped the youngest at rummy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah. Funny thing. No one has ever tried to break into my LML but they've tried to break into my LB7 4 times in almost 5 years. I would make sure you have a good aftermarket alarm as the kids seem to know all the shortcuts to breaking into and stealing them.

today's half ton trucks are every bit as capable as the 3/4 ton trucks of the early millenium.
I have that same tractor and I really like it. That whole set up is probably only 5K, which should be a breeze for a 1/2 ton.
Bear, that's quite the nice result from your efforts. looks good.

On the night of the arrival and set up people are usually really worn out and a quick boil of water will put food on the table in less than 10 minutes. You can cook the rest of the nights. books. Real books on paper. camping is, for me, a time to read a fiction novel. I usually only read leadership books, history or biographies (or books by crazy piluts) but camping lets me check out for a while. playing cards. I beat my wife and kids mercilessly at rummy. smore sticks and smore fixings. Try one with a Reeses peanut butter cup and marshmallow between two graham crackers.....stupid good

OK, tried something new tonight. I get so busy at work that I walk across to a greek restaurant fairly regularly to eat their greek salad with beef and lamb gyro meat. That gets to be expensive multiple times a week at $20 a pop. So I thought I'd try to replicate the salad at home and see if I can save a few bucks.
Leg of lamb:
4.5 lb leg 7 cloves minced fresh garlic zest of 2 lemons juice of 1 lemon 1/3 cup EVOO 1/3 cup red wine 2 tbs chopped fresh oregano 1 tbs grey poupon mustard
Salt and pepper the lamb, rub with the marinade and marinate 3-4 hours or overnight. Place on shallow roasting rack at 375 and roast until well done (the only way the greeks eat their meat) or about 155 internal temp flipping about 3/4 the way through to get browning on both sides.
Salad:
Rough chopped iceberg and romaine lettuce sliced red and green bellpepper thin sliced purple onion thin shredded purple cabbage thin sliced radish grated carrot Chopped fresh oregano Later when assembling the salad:
Add quartered roma tomatos, pepperoncini, pitted kalmata olives, capers and feta cheese.
Greek dressing:
1.5 cups good olive oil 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 2 tbs good balsamic vinegar 1tbs grey poupon mustard 1tbs dried dill 1tbs dried oregano 1tbs black pepper 1tbs sugar 1tbs salt 1tbs garlic powder Juice of one lemon
place in jar and shake well and refrigerate
To serve. Place salad in bowl, add tomatos, capers, olives, pepperoncini, and feta cheese. Drizzle salad dressing and toss. Slice meat very thinly and place on top. Serve with fresh lemon wedges.

In the processes of trying to locate a clogged washing machine drain. All I know is that this drain does not run into the septic tank. It has its own line on a different side of the house, into what I'm assuming is a dry well. So I am wondering, should I cut the line here at the elbow and keep going with the shovel or go rent a mini-ex and replace the whole thing? I have no idea how long or where the line goes from this point. I'm leaning towards the mini.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Its not uncommon for people to discharge grey water away from the septic to keep the volume down. Legality is suspect in certain jurisdictions, but if you know where the line ends, it may just be easier to replace as that looks like a 2 inch pipe?
