There are diff reds too.

You know the new axles pictured are trailer axles? I think the one up top might be some better.
I just said Don might have decided to go in a different direction with the axle, I didn’t say it was a good/smart one.

Oh, I thought Don had decided to go another way on his axle upgrade on the suburban when I saw this just south of his interstate exit this morning. I thought it was out for delivery.

I don’t think a high intensity strobe on mounted on a rifle would be considered a deescalation, I see someone point a rifle in my direction and start seeing a bright flashing light first thought is probably going to be “muzzle flash”.  Okay, in all truth, being Air Force, it would be “blinky light”, but you get the idea.

In all reality, my first thought was, “did they clip the optic to prevent it from getting damaged during transport/shipping or to minimize space requirements?”  But then I thought about the fact their zero would be off when reinstalling and it’s not like they are going to the range in DC between now and the inauguration to rezero.   Not to mention it’s not like they had a monumental deployment distance.

I don’t know, maybe I’m just using my Air Force brain.

Another option if you are going for powder at the end is to blend prior to putting it in the dehydrator. You can use silpat(silicon sheets) to spread it out on.  You would probably get a more uniform drying and could grind it easier afterward. I think....

No just one
You being prior Air Force will always cause you to lose one point even before starting.
Sorry, just has to be that way
I hope you can work with it and continue on...;-)
Only one point?  Easily overcome through adaptation and exploitation of the circumstances as presented. Easy peasy

Nate, how big is your exercise room?  I’m planning to build one about 10x16 in the garage and wanted to see how big yours is for perspective.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

13' 6" x 14' 8"

Before you build one in the garage, find whatever rubber flooring your going to use and build it to that size so you dont have to cut the flooring to match.
Didn’t think of that about the flooring, thanks for the tip. I can build it whatever size I need, the garage is only 6000 sqft, so I’m flexible. :)

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dave, just be prepared for the cost of the equipment right now.  The supply system that was never designed for this massive demand is hanging on by a single thread.  I have a line on a lot of equipment, most of it is up your way, so if you need some assistance i can help you out.
I’ve got some of what I need for now, need to pick up a new treadmill, a mouse took a sauna on the Control board of the old one and treated me to a whiff of burnt ozone.
Besides that I just need a bench and possibly an elliptical so one person can do treadmill and the other can do elliptical. I’ve got enough free weights to last me until the burgeoning market turns into a glut of used gear and I can pick it up at a better price.

Well, I lock the man door just to be safe....

Miraculously the purlins I cut loose are too short to re-use.  Went to the metal store again....

Feel like Johnny Cash building that 57 Cadillac.

Got the roll up door installed and it took a while to get it tensioned correctly.  I got most of the other purlins welded in and have 4 to go.

Ordered ten 8 ft 12,000 lumen LED lights.

Will get the remaining purlins in tomorrow and start moving some shelving to its likely resting place.  The sheets will go up quickly when I get them next thursday.

Let the wife be the first to park on the new slab,  she likes unloading groceries better on the slab with the easy walkway.

As usual its taken longer and I’m over budget, but that’s just how I roll....

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Where did you order your lights?  I have at least 30 8 ft fluorescent light fixtures in the garage. I want to start replacing them as they are a pain in the winter with slow startup and I’ve already broken a couple of bulbs. The idea of the kids breaking one and getting themselves cut up doesn’t make me happy either.

Picked up a new pair of sawhorses for my birthday, I’ve been using a cheap plastic pair that I bought 18 years ago in Belgium.  Found this pair for less than half retail price because they had a small dent in one of them. Already fixed the dent. They seem pretty substantial and very stable.

I agree, having a bunch of food (especially if people know) and no guns would not end well.

Also, at least one “reach out and touch you” long gun that you can shoot well. He who gets shot first loses.

“There are only so many rounds one might need......”. Unfortunately, there is no way to know ahead of time what that exact number might be. I agree with the idea of ammo being valuable barter material. I don’t drink coffee, but have “some “ socked away as I feel that would make a decent batter item in post apocalyptic scenario as well.
