Prayer Request
« on: July 15, 2015, 04:25:18 PM »
Earlier today I was attaching the hay rake to the tractor when my thumb was crushed breaking the nail and ripping a good chunk of meat. Doctor wanted to pull the broken part of the nail off and stich it up but the supervisor told her no. It's currently wrapped so that it can heal on its own. I ask if yall could pray that it heals quickly and properly. Thanks. If yall want to see it I'll post a picture of it.

It is going to hurt, no doubt about it. I can keep you in my thoughts and a prayer too but it is still going to hurt. I am thinking a photo is not in order here, at least for me. ;)

Prayer sent-

Lots of ice and keep it above your heart so the throbbing stays to a minimum.  Probably a good thing it's split from a pain stand point- built up pressure hurts LOTS!

Heal quickly-

Update: Had to go back today to have it checked out and the doc said it should turn out fine. He also gave me this aluminum guard to protect it.

I appreciate all the prayers, I can feel them working as I have almost no pain in my thumb.

Good to hear!
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Heal quickly, young man!
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.
