Automation is the future Boys, cant comment on items that have not be publicly announced.

But next week we will make history in a big way, for those of you that have kids I highly encourage you to let them watch the launch and landing of the mission next week scheduled right now for March 29.

Cool! The Drudge click through headline said "Mysterious equipment spotted on SPACEX drone ship" and I wondered if it was something bizarre or just something pretty neat (whether you could discuss or not). Looking forward to seeing how this evolves. I like that private companies are doing this. I think private enterprise is usually much better faster cheaper than government bureaucracies at getting stuff done like this.

Phil. Will definitely have the kid watch next week. What do you think about the recent NASA budget news?  Too little too late?  Love SpaceX

OK, everything is looking good so far for todays mission.  If you do have kids please try to encourage them to watch, there is lots going on with this mission.  This will be the first re-flight of a flown rocket in history and we are attempting to bring it back again.   Launch window opens up at 18:30EST (15:27PST) TODAY

They do that to fake it!

A Chinook is hovering nearby with a painted up falcon 9 first stage. The pilot, a handsome devil, sets the booster on the barge and then flies off

I think they used Chinooks to fake the moon landings too!

Now Don why would you spread this type of propaganda about the world as we know it, the last time we tried the Chinook the rotor mufflers came off and you had to engage the anti-gravity system we got off the alien space craft in Roswell.  Everyone knows we are using the Skycrane for all these deception video's.

How many times do I have to tell you, the first rule of deception club is to NEVER talk about deception club!!!  and the earth is still flat!

I wish I could find the pic of me, Sam and Sophie all wearing the occupy mars shirts. we all woke up at different times, didn't see each other in the morning and all chose the same shirt, so the wife had to get a pic, and oh, and Sam has stolen my "Remove before flight" tag. As a 19 year old, I really like seeing him so interested in your company's ventures. we spent an entire flight from Phoenix to SF with Sam sitting next to EM's private pilot. Very cool stories and inspiring. Too bad he can't intern for you guys, it'd be nice if you had Seattle roots.

Pretty cool year ahead I'd say.

Falcon Heavy will launch later this year, most powerful since Saturn 5

Reason is we burn up all the fuel, some missions we cant bring home either because of weight of payload or orbit insertion

This is awesome. Seeing it live is as well.

Just read a bit about the customer.
I'm thinking I may have been on these when we were on the cruise back in February.
Not sure, there may be others also, but it was pretty dang good internet for the middle of the ocean.

Always love to see these updates.

Phil when is the next launch?  I was considering taking the girls to see a launch live.  (I'd like to see it too!) We take space travel for granted.

TRN, I cant say much about launch dates until they are publicly announced, best recommendation I can give is keep an eye on the Spacex.com website, we are building a launch complex in Texas so you should have to travel very far.  But the Cape or Vandenberg would be the best bets if you want to watch one soon.

Cool Phil.  Is there an observation area in the Cape or do people just park on the road?

loved the screen on the car dash.  "Don't Panic"

Yeah, some cro-magnon alien in another world will see that thing land and start worshiping it......

Of course I don't believe God created other beings on other planets, but it makes for a good story.

Saturn V was 4X larger....wow.  Gives perspective to what we accomplished when $ was no object in the 60s.

Phil that was pretty impressive.  What makes it more impressive to me is the quote from Wiki

"The Falcon Heavy was developed with private capital. No government financing was provided for its development"
