Heck, my wife and I could do this as a couple routine. After 11 children she doesn’t even know what a nights sleep is. ;)

You know what the cause of that is, besides trying to bankrupt yourself?

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Nate, reminds of a few years ago (actually 14) when I got chewed on by a SGM for not saluting his Captain. I had recognized the Captain, but we were in a no salute zone, so I didn't render one. The SGM chased me down, and commenced to chewing my @$$. When he took a breath, I responded, "Since we're on the topic of customs and courtesies, SGM, I'm having a real hard time understanding you without your feet being at 45*." I was a senior 1LT. LOL! I though he was going to stroke out right there!

After that, he went to have a chat with my CSM. My CSM told him, "You best mind your own business, or you might get your @$ whupped!" LOL! That poor dude definitely had a bad day. My CSM did call me in and ask me to go easy for a while, because I was causing him trouble. He and I had a very good, solid, relationship. LOL

and the sad thing is, that E-8's going thru the academy act like they are the greatest thing since sliced bread and that everybody shall bow down to them.  you should see some of the uniform violations they do while in the gyms at bliss.

but then again....

in 2014/2015 (dont remember the year)...when the first rounds of the QMP/QSP were happening, 50% of the academy staff was given walking papers.

I served with a Cherokee. Ron was solid and always had my back. Not a Special Ops guy, but if you were flying around wearing a 101st path you were on his turf. He was either your friend or not and you always knew which way it was. I always admired and respected him, still do.

Hayes, a Navajo, married my cousin and after a failed drunken life, finally died leaving her penniless. I suppose American Indians are just like everyone else, some good, some worthless.
