Quote from: wilsonphil on October 18, 2018, 02:17:42 PMhopefully its out of the DMV system by now! Been no-opped since I had it no issue there.I lock hubs when I get to the area, not when I get stuck,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Alright. Nice fun there. Stop making fun of my ostrich loafers. Wait until I put the grizzly locker in the LB7. Its still a real truck.
So after looking at the pump assembly and the tank after draining I decided to just replace both. The rust and gunk was nasty, so dropping it anyway now Summit had pumps for $87 ($67 for the 40 gal?) and a dorman 31 gal tank was $107. It was $122 but when I checked to see if the tank was baffled, it showed a diff tank. So I called to change the order and they matched Amazon and gave me free shipping (normally $10 oversize). All in stock in Reno so will have tomorrow, but another scout event this weekend so will tackle on Monday.
You GM guys are so lucky!!!!!

Had a little lifter noise at first, but after 14 years I wasn't surprised. I can hear it, any others?Ran through the gears and it seems to grab good, but haven't actually driven it.Love to have it gone by the end of the week.
Ken has all the good apps so he can listen to his girl "H" clearly!
Now that it runs, please swing by and throw Phil in the back and bury him in the desert for me? Thanks, I'll owe you one.

Its all good Don, Ken still a little sore over that election thing.Back to JR's build. Great you got it running it is really clean for what it is if I was a Chevy guy I would seriously consider it.You might try selling it on Craigs list back east, now that you have it running and stopping it could be shipped. the rust belt guys i would be pretty excited if they could get ahold of it!
Well, had a guy come up from San Jose and paid full price for it. Told him I was not flexible on the price, and he still came up.Still had to do the hubs, front studs and rebuild the dash. Found it had a small radiator leak is the worst part. Now I have $$$ to get springs for the Dmax.Bye, Bye,,,,,,,,,,,,
