Ken I think car shows are one of the more wholesome activities I’m going to try harder to attend them with these kids.  Keep them interested in cars n trucks and not girls and drugs.

Plans right?

Today on the Silverado I finally added those airbags

I should be able to stop that California lean now

It’s a simple system with china man instructions but I made do.

I also finished the replacement parts for the b&w turnover ball hitch I have had. The previous owner of the hitch had some really hoaky parts that were simply not factory.
It’s all factory now

Added some floor joists and sheeted the floor. I took some scrap and boxed off the stair way hole so kids can’t get shoved off.

Now to build the hand rail.    Still debating on running studs to the ceiling with a four inch spacing or.... half wall

That’s the plan.   I’ll hanger the 2x8’s off the doubled 2x8 header.  Sheet it and hand rail also.  Maybe leave that side open for air and maybe large things to fit upstairs.

But flooring for sure

Nate, you should pickle some green beans! Those and asparagus pickled are the best! Also, I would like a jar of your hot salsa! We have home made habanero paste in the fridge we like to use in food.
We do that,  I love putting some jalapeños in there also,  spicy pickled green beans so great!

This is honestly never something I have read about past “ hum.... that looks good”.

With Covid prices an supply are going crazy,  that truck here is about that price all day long

Would I buy it not high priced no.   Is it a really good motor trans combo. Heck yeah.  I like the idea of that instead of a diesel.  Just haven’t pulled with one to verify

Built in stair for sure.  Just off the landing existing.  Maybe five stairs is all,  need some other framing experienced mind to cut em, I never get it right and I also want to look at some suspended flooring options To.

Charles, I am planning on using the existing racks I already have.  I plan on seeing how much of the shelf I need
And maybe removing some racks

I have these and plan on cutting them down in height

I just chalked out lines for my shelves

I have a center isle 8’7.   Think I’ll run the wires straight through the floor in a pipe,  the middle of a work bench that is 3 feet wide

Morning progress, stopping point until I get rail material and one of my framer buddies to help me see how short I can make my steps.

The garage brackets removed easy enough.  Just need to do the other things mentioned

Going to lay out my shelf spaces and see what’s left.

I have power here at the grey box mid wall.  I could see if there is power above it in the attic.   But I assume they ran that horizontally and to go up I’d be going through floor joists that won’t be fun

Need to figure out something, I don’t want wires hanging but powering the garage will look ugly unless I crawl into the attic and insulation

That insulation is 2-3 feet thick blown in.   Not a good time of year to be up there,

Then sheet the rest

Much to my my disdain I need airbags for my truck. I hate doing what other people recommend lol

This is what I have in mind since the new truck plan has been put on hold ( thanks covid-19).

Looking at these

Air Lift 57275 LoadLifter 5000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CFQ2XM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_bXGmFbC9T9B4W

Air Lift 52420 Air Lift Spacers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079WW31VC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_D3GmFb3R2C93X

Does anyone have a reason to buy the bags with the rubber bump stops in them for the extra $$$ the kit has me remove the stock bumps out
