Boy are they proud of that little keyed system $300 bucks for some plates.

I think I’ll be ordering the bags without the bumps in them.  See no major reason for them

Much to my my disdain I need airbags for my truck. I hate doing what other people recommend lol

This is what I have in mind since the new truck plan has been put on hold ( thanks covid-19).

Looking at these

Air Lift 57275 LoadLifter 5000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CFQ2XM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_bXGmFbC9T9B4W

Air Lift 52420 Air Lift Spacers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079WW31VC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_D3GmFb3R2C93X

Does anyone have a reason to buy the bags with the rubber bump stops in them for the extra $$$ the kit has me remove the stock bumps out

First Cub Scout meeting of the season last night. I guess I am the new assistant Webelos leader.  I enjoy helping out and doing the behind the scenes stuff.

The Eagles club sponsors our troop. It just so happens the guy in charge of getting what we need for the troop had an affair with my first wife. Pretty much off and on the whole 11 years we were married. We dont like each other much. But, we have a good network. I shouldn't have to deal with him much.
You have a functioning scout unit in you area?  After the bankruptcy and the Mormon church pulled out it all stopped here

Pressure washed off the skid tracks in the driveway
And put some clear sealer on the drive after, onyx clear is the product. Kind of old but I got it for free, it was an awesome product ten years ago

Ken,

I know I’m not the most versed in gooseneck but I have found the most simple is to leave the trailer just low enough when I bump the ball on the hitch is tells me I am close and then push a little further

Google’s your friend Dave ;)

If you replaced the stock hitch then you should be looking at that hitch’s weight ratings. Usually has a sticker on the hitch.
The problem with google is there info isn’t trustworthy,     Cab dimension, bed length all play into that number but with so many folks here who have the identical truck I figured an ask would be easier then a shot on google being accurate,

Should be fine with a 10k toy hauler in the bumper.
Googled for reference

I replaced mine a few summers ago, bent the factory hitch down about a inch by being overloaded

Jr. We poured the slab about 5 inches thick, it should hold the additional weight easy enough

The beam is way overkill but for $100 bucks I went with it.

My logic with which side of the stair is.   As you walk down you would have to avoid the post to get to a car,  on the left side I keep the extra fridge ( secondary power source plug) and the fridge is going to be there anyway

I have marked the floor where it has to go based on my beam that I can’t stretch 4” to the side

It’s been a whole year !! 5 hrs old on the 2nd!!

Made them these boxes for old dad to put keep safe things in.    My pops passed and I found a whole bunch of joy in his little box in his closet.  Everything from a rock mom explained to me of a trip me and him had, a hat pin from NASA ( look up what a snoopy pin is).  To pocket knife he always had in his pocket

I plan on doing similar for my three kids.

I put a key lock on it to keep them out if need be,   Honestly think Theresa would like one also for her

Dave's drunk again.

Yellowstone, my new favorite, if they would just leave out some of the social justice. Indians pure and innocent. White man bad. Gets tiring.
... Season 1 was the best
It’s usually a sober problem here anymore,

But I agree if they lost the Indian crap I would like it that much more.
Even more ironic is the few Navaho people I do know don’t watch it, but laugh at BLM and cry foul.

Life is forever what you make of it.

Picked up the beam post today, she’s a little large.   It’s about all I can do to pick it up,
6x6 post. 1/4 inch thick and a strap at the top to mount to the beam.    Now to get the fork lift home to set the beam since I have to go straight up.

I saw these on Instagram, my instant thought was, “why didn’t he make these himself. He is certainly capable.”

Look forward to seeing your ferd come to life.

I appreciate that Turner, there is some engineering in these (cummins 5 degree tilt) and time is money. Plus it was a buy in for other info as I’m not using anyone’s particular “kit”. Sometimes you pay a little to make nice.
Have any of you folks found a way to get the wife to understand this?  Why do you take beer to the bike shop Every time you go?
Why do you go to the dealership and take Andy cookies when ya go
Why do you always sit and talk with Jim at the lumber yard.

There is the whole other idea of a plan like Dons,    Are you planing on a tune?

Tune provides good benefits like MpG, increase HP is not just a ego thing vs ability to pull easier at a higher rate of speed

The turbos you can drop in provide lots of better long term benefits also, keeping the motor temps down and reliability and so forth

The rest I think I would leave stock

A 500hp motor will run a lifetime with basic parts
