Governor just imposed an 8pm curfew in Arizona. I've never seen that before. Hopefully I can pass through SLC Friday night with no issues. Dave, if you hear anything between now and then I would appreciate a sitrep.
Ken I think you should be free n clear on our freeways. But I’ll keep you posted. I honestly think people would have to be completely mental to try and stop I-15. That freeway is always running and Trucks don’t stop for that stuf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don did you read about the very peaceful protest here in ogden? This last week we had an officer shot while storming a home to protect a wife who called about her husband killing her.
The city rallied the officer, has cared for the wife who is now safe. We had a protest/memorial yesterday and then just twenty minutes south stupid people in slc started the complete opposite.
Thankfully we have a very large capable police force. Super happy my hometown city is beyond the others.

For real I drive 6 min from my house. I can walk my happy ass home if I need to, General maintenance should elevate most problems. Prepare before you go or prepare to fix shiz while your gone?
Ken when was the last time you got stopped to use any of those tools you pack?
Jr changed a flat tire the other day. He had to phone the neighbor to take him to town to get the tire replaced.
You guys are killin me dragging the garage toolbox around.
Makes your old man feel goods feel better knowing you are “prepared” ?

Like your spare tire mine doesn’t fit In the bed. So I leave it home unless I feel an itch of bad luck. Tire and tool box kill the bed for any type of construction stuff I would be hauling. Yes I said tool box. It has straps and jumper cables. Some washer fluid usually too

Triple A? What happened to phone a friend? Jr I know you are making trips across states like crazy.
I run minimum needs in my truck around town. I would have to phone a friend to bring me a spare tire and a jack and a wrench at this point if I got a flat tire.
No reason to load up on a bunch of things to either get stollen, lost, or borrowed.

Nah, I raised her Dave. She is far from ungrateful and she’s currently (as she has been for at least a year or two now) working two jobs. So it is far from free, a good deal sure she’s my kid and the smiles are worth it.
I’m just jealous is all lol I’ll hold off. I wanted to drive that truck to verify it’s a change I could make. The diesel emissions are getting out of hand and I don’t run the truck enough to justify it. But like yesterday I moved some doors and an air compressor and while I don’t need a diesel I did need a pickup so... I think that 6.2 with the 8 speed has good power, rides smooth, towing cap of 10k I think. That will do for most anything and still have the seat-o-meter to make me smile once an exhaust is added Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’d bet my truck, she is forever thankful. And shoot, she worked on it as much as Shawn did :)
Also, don’t you tow kind of regularly? Isn’t a diesel a better option for you? Or would this be a replacement daily driver while keeping the duramax?
The towing duty for work has been pushed off onto other folks, not getting paid for my truck so I put a stop to it as much as possible. This would see daily use and allow me to park the max until needed, 23 mpg on the odometer is pretty nice. Drive smooth and quiet. I like it. Just not this one. I’ll hold out for a red one and get my yard paid off in a few months first Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There are companies that sell plastic food grade tanks for about any size on eBay. I think a hard tank would be better then a bladder that would cause vacuum like a camel bag.

I went trailer shopping with my buddy in his 2.7 ecopoop max towing 8k, there is not much that thing will pull well if you ask me.

Good choice on then mower Dave. I have a commercial Honda that I bought new as a kid in 1998 (I was mowing lawns throughout the neighborhood) for $750 and I still run it to this day. The metal deck is so much better than the new plastic ones. Replaced the carb twice and need to replace some transmission parts but my yard is mostly flat so it’s good exercise.
I think it’s a good addition, need to take that snapper mower back. To much space in my garage Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
